PROJECT: Woodside Petroleum Camp – Gap Ridge, Karratha CLIENT: Ngarda Alliance – Ngarda / Leighton joint venture SIZE: 4500 M² VALUE:$510 000.00 DURATION: 2 Weeks For this particular project we were tasked with paving all areas around the recreational facilities in a 400 man camp, where traditionally in the past, the areas would have been constructed in concrete. One of the challenges we had on this project was to transport product and materials from Perth to Karratha some 1,530 kilometres to site, which was achieved successfully in working partnerships with our suppliers. We also had to ensure that all of our plant and equipment was compliant with stringent mining and oil & gas regulations. Whilst working closely with the Ngarda team including the site project team, all works were carried out on time and within budget.
